Legal and Community Experience
Attorney Chris Gaal has over twenty years of broad experience in civil and criminal law in both the public and private sectors. Gaal served as a community leader with a practical background in communication, decision-making, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Gaal was the elected Monroe County Prosecuting Attorney for three terms from 2007 through 2018, and served for two terms on the Bloomington City Council from 2000 through 2006. Gaal also represented clients in private practice in both criminal and civil matters from 1998 to 2006. Gaal currently serves as a senior prosecutor in several Indiana counties handling special prosecutor cases.
